Reseña del libro "Socrates, the sprinting snail of Sorrento"
This book is an illustrated children's adventure story about Socrates, a snail who lives on the breakfast room balcony of the Regina Hotel in Sorrento, Italy. Having decided to take a break up on the roof, the snail finds himself plucked from safety and thrown into an amazing adventure which takes him far from home and into unfamiliar and sometimes unfriendly places. His sole objective is to get back home to the place he knows and understands, but that is not as easy as it appears. This story is suitable for competent readers between the ages of 7 and 12 but can be read to younger children by a parent, grandparent, family member or family friend. Teachers may also consider reading the story to Kindergarten classes.
