Reseña del libro

In a scrap yard awaiting certain death, Gari an old broken rotting car is saved from the crushing machine. He is brought to a warm cosy barn where he is restored and polished to make him look and feel like a new car again. We witness how this is done and while it is being carried out he tells his life story to the other vehicles that park in the barn. During his happy times and the sad times we follow his progress and meet his first owner Lucy, who bought him as a brand new young car. And experience with him the day of rallying, his time with the bumbling professor, his gradual decline into old car age and settling for the friendship and comfort of chickens who roost in his cab. Will Gari get restored and renew friendships and loves?
