To celebrate International Earth Day, Miss Rosa and her students are planning to plant a tree near their school. The little tree is satisfied; it has finally left the nursery behind and will soon have a permanent home. The corner spot the students have picked has great views and the people that pass by seem very nice. But soon the little tree comes to realize that it’s very difficult to survive when so many children and adults behave irresponsibly. A year later, nobody takes notice of the tree, except a couple of sparrows that decide to nest in its branches. Finally the tree has something to be happy about.
