Two of Largo's employees have been killed in his headquarters in New York. His friend Charity has been kidnapped in the middle of the Piazza San Marco, and his only lead is a mysterious message stating 'beware of the Doge'. As the bodies begin to pile up, Largo - aided by the beautiful Domenica - tries to unravel the truth.
